Nanton
Maybe you’ve visited the candy store in Nanton but if you haven’t been the Command Bomber Museum you’re missing out. This summer I learned that Nanton is more than just a pit stop on the highway. And as they fired up the engines on the Lancaster from world war 2 it gave me a huge appreciation for the young Canadians who left to fight for the freedoms we currently enjoy.
Crowsnest Pass
I’ve driven past Crowsnest Pass countless times. Always on my way somewhere else. Never slowing down. But this time I finally stopped. And what I discovered blew me away. I walked through an old coal mine in total darkness. I stood where a mountainside wiped out a town. But I also took in so much beauty with the breathtaking sceneries and adventure. A big highlight was embarking on an ATV experience with Crowsnest Adventures where we hit some muddy trails up the mountain to a plane crash site. Here’s a peek into my journey through Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. Full Episode coming very soon on Youtube!
Tofield
“One of the biggest commodities Tofield has is it’s community” That really sums up a lot of what I have experienced this summer as I’ve been to so many towns and seen people coming together and just loving being a part of something so cool. As a visitor you can’t help but feel that energy. And yep, Tofield’s Western Days was no acception. Such a cool event and a really cool town.
